It seemed like my daughter was starting to explore more and more – and get into more and more stuff around the house. The Pack n’ Play just wasn’t enough room for her anymore. She outgrew it really fast, and wouldn’t let me put her in there for long anymore, she’d cry and it was obvious that it just wasn’t big enough for her. I needed something bigger…
I Want Something Better Than The Rest
So I hit the internet to do some research. The playpens, port-a-cribs, and pack n’ plays were all way too small – they all looked like jail cells to me. Some were literally dog pens, rebranded to be playpens (Seriously!) – I am NOT putting my daughter in a dog pen!

That’s when I hit on a review for the Little Playzone. The Little Playzone comes with four interlocking walls, so if you buy two sets and lock them together, you get the biggest playpen available. That’s what the reviews said, anyway. After way too much research, this definitely looked like the best option for me so I picked up two sets and the Foam PlayMat because we have hardwood floors.

I couldn’t agree more…I bought 2 and was easily (NO TOOLS…took all of 2 minutes, if that!) able to hook both together. Sturdy. 2 gates (b/c I ordered 2) 2 playwalls… HUGE play area-doesn’t ‘feel’ like she is enclosed. No need to try and hide every wire and outlet (which she tried constantly to undo and get into). This is THEE best play area. And she is my 4th…we’ve tried a variety. Also great b/c she can hold the top and ‘cruise’ and so is easily learning to walk, but very safely. I couldn’t have spent a better amount of money… $200 for piece of mind and a fun play area to put the baby and all of her toys in.

I read on Amazon that some people were commenting on how light the playzone is and that their babies are able to push it around. Is this the case?

I’d say it depends on what kind of surface you have it set up on.
If you plan on using it on a carpet or a foam play mat it should stay put just fine. But if you’re using it on a hardwood or tile floor, you’re going to need to use the suction cups (they’re included).
To me, the fact that its light is a positive thing – I can move it easily and store it away quickly and because I use it on my carpet, I haven’t had any sliding problems.
