Little Playzone: Creating the Ultimate Playpen and A Little Freedom For Mommy

little-playzone2

When I got the Little Playzone in the mail, I was excited.  Basically- its four plastic wall pieces and four corner joints, one piece is a gate, and the other is a Playwall with built-in toys on it.  I bought two sets, so I had eight segments.  My first impression was, “Wow, this is colorful – this actually does look like it’s going to be fun!”.  It has a very kid-friendly look, very colorful and eye-catching.

Building the Ultimate Play Palace
Setting it up was a breeze, each part plugs into the next without any additional parts or tools – it took me less than 5 minutes to put it up.  Each wall piece is light-weight and made of thick plastic, so it’ll be a cinch to clean.  The wall ends up being about two feet tall which is tall enough to keep my daughter in, but short enough for her to see out and not feel trapped or caged up.  The walls of the Little Playzone are also short enough for me to easily step inside and out.

Movin’ on Up
All put together – with the foam playmat, some toys and books, and a nap pad – I have created the ultimate Play Palace for my daughter.  I figure its about 45 square feet of play heaven – a far cry from her old Pack n’ Play.  Like moving from New York City to the country!

I don’t actually think so… BUT you can get this Playzone Extension Kit, which is one connector and one wall. Maybe not worth it though?

If it’s so lightweight and the walls have no attached bottom, can’t they just push the entire thing if desired? How do you keep it put where you set it up?

Hi Mama

Ideally you have it on a foam mat with enough friction, but carpet will also do the trick. And for hardwood floors, it comes with suction cups!

If you buy 2, how many square feet does it cover? What about one with 2 extension kits? Any idea?

I have a foam mat that is 6′x7′. I would like to as much space inside the playpen as possible.

Any advice which I should go with?

Hi Jenny!

With two sets, it’ll be about 7 1/2 feet x 7 1/2 feet, so it’ll be a touch bigger than your mat. I don’t actually have the extension kit so I’m not sure how much room that would add…

Hope that helps.

I live in Canada and Amazon will not ship this product across the border, are there any US retailers near Niagara Falls? In Buffalo NY?

Steve – what you want to do is this:
1. Click here http://amzn.to/rrJfXM to go to Amazon.
2. Look for a link like “7 new from $99.00″ (the numbers might be different) Click on that.
3. Scan that page for vendors that say “International & domestic shipping rates”
4. Click Add To Cart from that vendor – VOILA! – Shipping to Canada!
